🚨 It’s Parvo Season 🚨Parvo is a highly contagious and often deadly virus that affects puppies and unvaccinated dogs. Every year shelters and rescues see an increase in cases during warmer months, and prevention is so important.🐾 Signs of Parvo may include:• Vomiting• Severe diarrhea• Lethargy• Fever or dehydration💉 The best protection is vaccination. Please make sure your pets are up to date on their vaccines and avoid exposing young puppies to unknown dogs or public areas before they are fully vaccinated.🧼 You can also help by:• Cleaning and disinfecting areas properly• Keeping sick pets isolated• Notifying a vet immediately if symptoms appearOur shelter is working hard to protect every animal in our care during parvo season.
